In the village of Gruzskoye, Borisovsky District, Belgorod Region, on January 20, 2009, the cornerstone for the construction of a church in honor of St. Nicholas was consecrated.

Within a year, the new church was built thanks to the active support of the head of the Borisovsky District Administration, Nikolai Ivanovich Davydov, and the charitable assistance of the general director of LLC 'AgroBelogorye Group', Vladimir Fedorovich Zotov.

On October 3, 2010, Archbishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated the new church dedicated to St. Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia. A children's Sunday school also operates at the church.
