In the village of Bolshyolug, located in the Kortkerossky district of the Republic of Komi, there is currently a non-functioning church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker.

Originally, there was a wooden church in the village, but in 1814, a two-story brick building was erected in its place. The church had two altars: the lower, winter altar was consecrated on June 22, 1818, in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and the upper, summer altar was consecrated on June 23, 1828, in honor of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos.
