St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church in Atamansky Village, Omsk

The main altar is dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker of Myra, the second altar to St. Alexandra the Queen, and the third to St. Alexius, Metropolitan of Moscow. The church was built with funds from the Atamansky Cossacks and small donations from others. The foundation stone was laid on May 9, 1911, by the Bishop of Omsk Vladimir in the presence of the Cossack Ataman of the Siberian Cossack Army, General of Cavalry E.O. Schmidt. The church was consecrated by Bishop Andronic of Omsk and Pavlodar on August 29, 1913.

This is a stone church with three altars, single-story and cross-shaped in plan, with a deacon's room and altar.

By the decision of the Omsk Regional Executive Committee No. 139 dated May 23, 1989, the church was placed under state protection as a monument of local architectural significance.
