The two-story stone building of the hospital, located in the desert, was constructed from red brick between 1901 and 1903 on the site of an old wooden structure built in 1856. On the second floor of the hospital building was the chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. After the closure of the desert and the demolition of the churches, this building remained the only surviving one. The former church space was converted into an assembly hall for the children's home 'New Light' named after Karl Liebknecht.

On November 2, 2010, for the first time after the devastation of the monastery, a water blessing service with an akathist was held in the preserved building of the monastery hospital. In 2014, 300 years after the foundation of the monastery, with the blessing of Bishop Sophrony of Gubkin and Grayvoron, the revival of the monastery began. Six residents settled here. On June 29, 2014, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the only surviving Nicholas chapel.
