The St. Nicholas Church in the village of Beliy Kolodez was built in 2010 on the site where a church from the second half of the 18th century once stood. On June 20, 2010, the solemn opening and consecration of the St. Nicholas Church took place, conducted by Archbishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. The iconostasis for the new St. Nicholas Church was made by the Shchigry Holy Trinity Brotherhood. The new church was built on the site of a wooden church of the Unmercenary Healers Cosmas and Damian, which was erected in 1779 and was dismantled during the Soviet era for the construction of a collective farm grain storage. In 2015, the church was painted by a group of icon painters.
