The parish was founded in 2005. By the decree of Metropolitan German of Volgograd and Kamyshin, the first rector was Priest Alexey Tarasov. In December 2006, he was succeeded by Archpriest Peter Simora, the dean of the Volzhsky district. In 2009, the parish received a land plot for free urgent use. In 2010, the construction of the baptismal church in honor of the Holy Epiphany began, and in November of the same year, Priest Yuri Garbuz became the rector.

On November 26, 2010, with the blessing of Metropolitan German, the domes of the baptismal church were consecrated and installed. On April 19, 2011, the bells were consecrated and installed. The first service in the church took place in 2010. In September 2011, a Sunday school opened at the parish, and in September 2012, the construction of the main church began.
