The Cathedral of St. Alexius, Metropolitan of Moscow and All Russia, is an Orthodox church of the Belgorod Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church located in the village of Maisky in the Belgorod region.

In 1999, at the request of local residents and with the support of the rector of Belgorod State Agricultural Academy A. F. Ponomarev, a room in the building of a former kindergarten on Kirova Street was allocated for the church. This allowed for services to be held during the Easter days.

On August 9, 2000, Priest Viktor Govorov became the rector of the church. With his arrival, active parish life began in the village: the church was arranged, regular services commenced, and a Sunday school for children and adults was opened. The church was named in honor of the Peschanskaya Icon of the Mother of God.

On July 6, 2002, a stone was laid in the apple orchard on Vavilova Street for the foundation of the new Cathedral of St. Alexius. However, due to changes in the general development plan of the village, it was decided to build the church in the center of the village.

In November 2004, earthworks began and the foundation was laid. On April 23, 2005, the Archbishop of Belgorod and Stary Oskol conducted a prayer service to bless the foundation of the Cathedral of St. Alexius.

On July 8, 2006, the church in the village of Maisky began its activities.
