The Church of St. Ignatius the Godbearer is an Orthodox church located on Mount Lysaya above the caves of the underground skete of the Valuyki Uspensky Nikolayevsky Monastery in the city of Valuyki, Belgorod Oblast.

The exact date of the founding of the cave skete in honor of St. Ignatius the Godbearer, which is part of the Valuyki Uspensky Nikolayevsky Monastery, remains unknown. The skete is located one kilometer from the main territory of the monastery, across the Oskol River, on a chalk hill. In 1897, monks began to expand and arrange the caves, completing the work by 1910. An architect who inspected the caves deemed them safe, and the soil, solid.

On May 4, 1914, the underground church of St. Ignatius the Godbearer was consecrated. It had a round shape with a diameter of about 6 meters and a height of up to 3 meters, accommodating more than 30 people. In 1916, the construction of a wooden church of the Transfiguration of the Lord began on the hill above the caves, but it was not completed: the building burned down in 1917.

In 1926, the Valuyki Uspensky Nikolayevsky Monastery was closed. The cave skete was looted, and the monks were expelled. Later, the underground passages were blown up and filled in.

In 2005, a board of trustees was established to restore the monastery's shrines. In 2005 and 2007, a wooden church of St. Ignatius the Godbearer was built on the summit of Mount Lysaya above the caves. At the same time, the underground passages and the cave church were cleared, a viewing platform and adjacent areas were arranged, and a park zone was created. The upper church of St. Ignatius the Godbearer was consecrated on September 22, 2007.

The wooden single-story church is in the Russian style with a tent-shaped bell tower. Inside the church is the entrance to the chalk caves, which are up to 640 meters long, where the underground skete and the church of St. Ignatius the Godbearer were previously located. A viewing platform with a view of the surroundings of Valuyki has been arranged around the church.
