The Church of the Meeting of the Lord is located not far from the center of the stanitsa on Krasnaya Street. The first church, made of wood, was built by the Cossacks in 1797. The brick church began construction in 1909, and chicken eggs were used in the wall construction, adding their whites to the cement mixture.

The first service took place in 1912, but documents regarding when and by whom the church was consecrated have not survived. During the Great Patriotic War, the church was destroyed, and the icons were lost. Only the bell tower with parts of the side entrances survived, where the Germans held Soviet prisoners of war.

Three years ago, work began on strengthening the building's structure and improving the area.

The bell tower of the stone Church of the Meeting of the Lord in the stanitsa of Ivanovskaya is over 100 years old. The question of its reconstruction was long discussed in the district administration, project documentation was prepared, and sponsors were sought.

On November 4, 2017, on the day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, a dome and cross were consecrated and installed on the bell tower.

Restoration work on the church continues. In the future, it is planned to establish an active chapel and restore the bell tower, reports the press service of the administration of the Krasnoarmeysky district.
