On March 21, 2014, on the day of the celebration of the icon of the Mother of God "Sign" of Kursk-Korennaya, Metropolitan German of Kursk and Rylsk consecrated the cornerstone of the building church of the Meeting of the Lord and Saint Martyr Anatolius on A. Deriglazov Avenue.
At that time, the new microdistrict was almost uninhabited. Nowadays, it is rare for the construction of a new district to begin with the erection of a church. However, the laying of a church at the beginning of the development of a new area is an ancient Russian spiritual tradition.
On November 26, 2015, domes and crosses were installed on the church.
On June 14, 2017, the bells were consecrated, totaling nine. The heaviest weighs 780 kilograms, the second 400 kilograms, followed by medium bells weighing 230, 60, and 25 kg. The small bells weigh 18, 10, and 7 kg.
The church accommodates 500 people, and its total area is 741.9 sq. m.
On December 29, 2019, Metropolitan German of Kursk and Rylsk conducted the rite of the Great Consecration of the church and the first Divine Liturgy. The central altar of the church is consecrated in honor of the Feast of the Meeting of the Lord, and the southern altar in honor of Saint Martyr Anatolius of Nicomedia.
