The Church of the Merciful Savior in the village of Streletskoye was built on the site of a burned wooden church that existed since 1641. This church is a monument of architecture and is under state protection.

The stone Savior Church in the village of Streletskoye was erected in 1876. Its main feature is the dome topped with an Orthodox cross. Inside the church, the vault symbolizes the spiritual sky, and another dome rises above the building. The interior of the church is always dim, creating a special atmosphere of antiquity.

In the early 20th century, in 1904, a well-known local historian described the church in Streletskoye as follows: "In Userde, there is one church, executed in elegant Russian style. Around it is a ring of old ramparts and moats. The ramparts are quite high, going in a double chain, and the depth of the moats reaches 4 arshins, with a width of up to 12 arshins or more. The church houses an ancient icon of the 'Tikhvin Mother of God', revered as miraculous, which is carried annually in a procession to Biruch."

In October 1932, under pressure from the local collective farm and village council, the peasants decided to demolish the bell tower, close the church, and use it as a grain storage facility. There were also plans to demolish the church's dome. However, on the day this decision was to be executed, protests began in the village, escalating into a mass brawl. Many participants were arrested, but the church was not demolished.

In May 1945, at the request of the parishioners, services resumed in the church.

In the summer of 2003, the church in Streletskoye was restored and preserved almost unchanged. The domes received new coverings and crosses, and the church was painted in blue and white tones. Sidewalk tiles were laid around it, and a fence was installed.

The church is adorned with the wonderfully found Tikhvin icon of the Mother of God and the icon of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

Not far from the church is a holy spring, a healing well. In the 1980s, it was also restored: a wooden chapel for prayer was built, surrounded by a carved fence, and flowers were planted.
