The construction of the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the village of Golovchino lasted over eight years and was completed with the consecration on January 15, 2010.
This single-domed church with a multi-tiered bell tower was built from reinforced concrete slabs according to a standard design. The opening took place in January 2010, and Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol conducted the divine liturgy. The church is located next to a federal highway, which thousands of travelers pass daily, and is open for visits throughout the day. A Sunday school for children operates in the basement of the building.
