The Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit in the village of Kamyzino was built in the 18th century, and its restoration was completed in 2009.

The village of Kamyzino emerged in the early 18th century when several families, led by Zinovy Kamizin, arrived from the city of Userda to perform state service and guard the borders in this region.

An Orthodox Trinity church operated in the village. On February 25, 1885, a literacy school opened in the church caretaker's house in Kamyzino, where 33 boys were educated.

In the 1930s, the church was closed, and its building was used as a warehouse, later becoming a village club.

In the early 1990s, after renovation work, services resumed in the church. The altar was re-consecrated in honor of the Holy Spirit. A children's Sunday school operates at the church.
