Anatoly Ivanovich Dzyuba, a native of the village of Guyevo, built a church here in honor of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. This church is a skete of the Gornal Holy Nicholas Belogorsk Men's Monastery.
Construction was completed in 2001, and the consecration took place on February 12, 2002, by Metropolitan Juvenaly of Kursk and Rylsk.
The church is adorned with frescoes. In winter, services are held in the lower church, which is located in the basement and equipped with a white ceramic iconostasis. The bell tower offers a picturesque view of the village of Guyevo and its surroundings. Plans include landscaping the church grounds and opening a Sunday school for children.
