Since 1993, the Orthodox community of the village had been located in a former residential house. At the initiative of the district administration and with the blessing of the Bishop of Bryansk and Sevsk, a decision was made to build a large stone church. The project was developed by the Bryansk State Technological Academy. After preparing all the necessary documents, a prayer service was held at the site of the future church. Construction began on April 1, 2004, when Bishop Theophilakt served a prayer for the laying of the foundation and consecrated the cornerstone.

The single-altar church was built with a bell tower 20 meters high and a dome 4 meters high, while the height of the central dome reached 18 meters. The main part of the building, rectangular in plan, is topped with a single-headed cylindrical dome light drum on a stepped base. It is complemented by a massive semicircular apse, rectangular side risalits with triangular attics, and a short refectory with a three-tiered bell tower.

On September 21, 2006, the first prayer service was held in the completed church. On November 5, 2007, the church was consecrated by the priestly order of the dean of the Klintsy district, Archpriest Vasily Volikov, with the co-serving of the priests of the deanery. The church was built with funds from A. A. and E. A. Stovpets and parishioners.
