The Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Bogorodsk was built in the first half of the 19th century and restored in 2009. Next to the church is a spring with a baptismal font.

The stone building of the church in the village of Bogorodsk was constructed around 1820 with funds from Prince Nikolai Borisovich Golitsyn. The church operated until the 1930s, after which it was closed and used as a grain storage facility. From the 1970s, it fell into disrepair and partially collapsed.

In 2009, the reconstruction of the church began. The fully restored building was consecrated by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol on September 20, 2009. On September 21, 2016, the spring with the baptismal font on the territory of the village of Bogorodsk was consecrated.
