In the city of Gubkin, Belgorod region, there is a chapel of the Nativity of Christ located in the city cemetery. At the initiative of participants of the Great Patriotic War, this chapel was built on the cemetery grounds, originally intended for the burial rites of the deceased. The chapel was consecrated on October 3, 1999, in honor of the 60th anniversary of the city of Gubkin. In May 2000, by the decree of Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol, a parish was established.
