The Church of the Nativity of Christ in the village of Brahlov was built of wood in 1763 and rebuilt in 1828. In 1903, it was partially destroyed by a hurricane. In the 1930s, the church was closed and has not survived to this day.

The village of Brahlov is first mentioned in 1620 as the property of the Rubtsovs, and later, the Lashkevichs. In the 19th century, distilleries and breweries operated here. Since 1929, Brahlov and nearby settlements have been part of the Klimovsky district.
