In 1861, a wooden church dedicated to the Venerable Zosima and Savvatiy was built in the village. In 1894, in the village of Krasnaya Rechka, then still in the Vyatka province, a stone church was erected with the funds of the parishioners. The right chapel was consecrated on December 12, 1895, in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Relieve My Sorrows," and the left chapel was consecrated on December 12, 1903, in the name of the holy equal-to-the-apostles Constantine and Helena. There was also a chapel on the Solovetsky Islands, and before the revolution, there was a church in honor of the icon "Relieve My Sorrows."

In 1908, the construction of the central part of the church began, but due to the revolution, the church in honor of the Venerable Zosima and Savvatiy was not completed. The last priest, Nikolai Kirilovich Bakhtin, was arrested on August 8, 1937. The church was closed on May 19, 1940, and it was used as a grain storage facility. Only in August 2000 did a church parish re-establish in the village, and services resumed in the church, alongside restoration efforts.

On June 18, 2013, Archbishop Ioann of Yoshkar-Ola and Mari El consecrated the chapel of the church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God "Relieve My Sorrows." Regular services are held here, both weekly and on major holidays. The church, which has survived to this day, is notable for its impressive size, new metal roof, and well-maintained grounds.

Among the revered relics of the church are the icons of the Venerable Zosima, Savvatiy, and Herman of Solovki, as well as the holy martyr Philip, Metropolitan of Moscow, consecrated on the relics of the Venerables in the Solovetsky Monastery and arrived at the church on August 21, 2014; the icon of Saint Spyridon of Trimythous with a piece of his vestment; the icon "Not Made by Hands"; and the icon of the Mother of God "Burning Bush."

On the parish grounds in the village of Maly Kuglanur, a chapel was built over the holy spring, consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity. This spring is the source of the river Malaya Kokshaga. In the village of Luzhbyalyak, in the building of a former kindergarten, there is a subsidiary church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, where services are held monthly.
