On July 20, 2016, a temple in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh was opened at the Zheleznogorsk police department. The church was built in memory of law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. The cornerstone of the temple was consecrated in 2015. The plan is for the temple to have eight domes and a bell tower.
