On Korochanskaya Street in the Old Town area, a temple was built in honor of St. Seraphim of Sarov. Metropolitan Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol consecrated it on August 1, 2013.

This event was awaited for nearly a hundred years. According to archival data, a stone church was erected on this site in 1783 in honor of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos. However, it was closed in the early 20th century and destroyed in the 1940s. In 2007, a decision was made to build a new church dedicated to St. Seraphim of Sarov. The height of the temple is 26 meters, and it can accommodate about 120 people. On the day of the consecration, a ceremonial signing of the act of transfer of the church to the Belgorod and Stary Oskol Metropolis also took place.
