The Shepelevskoe Cemetery was established in the mid-19th century on the western outskirts of Omsk, beyond the Butyrsky fortification. In 1902, a church was built opposite the cemetery gates, funded by the widow of official Bobrov and other benefactors. Financing was also provided through spiritual concerts.

The church was made of red brick and was single-story.

In the 1920s, the community ceased its activities.

The church was closed in the early 1930s, and in the 1940s it was demolished. Today, the site of the cemetery and church is occupied by factory buildings.
