The Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Voskresenko is one of the oldest surviving churches in the Omsk region. This brick single-altar church was built in 1867 by the residents of the village of Voskresenskoe, located in the Syropyatskaya volost of the Tyukalinsky district.

Until 1888, the church was considered a subsidiary of the church in the village of Kulikovskoye, and on February 13, 1894, a church-parish guardianship was established.

According to data from 1900, the parish included the villages of Kalachiki, Glukhovskaya, Kiberospasskaya (Kruglova), Lagushkina, as well as the settlements of Turgenevsky and Petrovsky. It was proposed to separate the settlement of Turgenevsky and the village of Kalachiki into a separate parish.

The parish had a church-parish school located in its own building in the village, and ministerial schools in the village of Kalachinskaya and the settlements of Turgenevsky and Petrovsky.

There were public wooden houses for the priest and deacon near the church, as well as an icehouse and a bathhouse. The clergy consisted of a priest, a deacon, and a psalmist.

In 1920, the church's property was nationalized, and in 1939-1940, the parish was closed.

On July 14, 1944, the community of believers from the village of Voskresenka submitted a request to the authorized representative of the Council for Religious Affairs under the Council of Ministers of the Omsk region to reopen the church.

The regional council granted permission on March 8, 1945, and on May 5, a conclusion was issued by the Council under the SNK of the USSR on the transfer of the church to the Orthodox community. Since then, the church has not been closed.

For some time, the church belonged to the community of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.

The parish of the Intercession Church in the village of Voskresenka of the Omsk-Tarsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church was registered on October 31, 1991.
