The parish was founded in 1995. The church building was previously used as a utility store. At the request of the believers, it was transferred to the Intercession parish and transformed into a church. Previously, there was a wooden church in the parish, which was destroyed and burned during the years of 'red terror' (1932-1933). Information about the clergy who served before the destruction has not been preserved. During the Soviet era, the settlement remained without a church and clergy.
In 1995, the church was consecrated by the archpriest with the blessing of the ruling Archbishop. Since then, work has been ongoing for the repair and reconstruction of the church. In 2013, the foundation for the construction of a bell tower was laid.
