In the picturesque village of Lyubitskoye in the Medvensky district, the Intercession Church rises prominently. This stone church was built in 1911 in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, the Assumption of the Mother of God, and the Mid-Pentecost. The construction lasted 11 years and was carried out by the entire village, which then had several thousand residents. During the Soviet period, the church was used as a grain storage for some time, but mostly remained active. Over the century, the building was never repaired and significantly deteriorated. In honor of the church's centenary, a decision was made to restore its former beauty. The repairs and painting in the church were completed in 1992.
