The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin is an Orthodox church that is part of the Shchigry and Manturovo diocese of the Kursk Metropolis. It is located in the village of Krasnaya Dolina in the Kastorensky District of the Kursk region.

Krasnaya Dolina is an ancient Russian village that was part of the Zemlyansky district of the Voronezh province until 1923.

In documents from the mid-1880s, Archbishop Dmitry (Sambikin) mentioned that the church in Krasnaya Dolina, Zemlyansky district, was built of stone with a bell tower in 1803 by landowner Okhotnikov. The church had 3 desyatinas of estate land and 37 desyatinas of arable and haymaking land. There was a plan and a boundary book. The parish had 600 souls, including the village of Razdolye.

At the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, the church staff included Priest Kirill Stefanovich Pchelintsev and Psalter-Deacon Zakharij Arsenyevich Tikhomirov. The parish had 176 households with a population of 1,230 people.

During the Soviet era, the church was closed. On December 17, 2011, Archbishop German of Kursk and Rylsk visited the church, where restoration work began after many years of neglect: the bell tower was restored, the walls were plastered, and other construction work is ongoing. The bishop was pleased to see the progress, as the restoration of rural churches requires special attention.

Today, the Intercession Church is recognized as a monument of history and culture of the peoples of the Russian Federation and an object of cultural heritage.
