Фото 1
The Intercession Church was built by the efforts of parishioners in 1893 and consecrated on June 7, 1897. The church, made of wood and painted, stood on a stone foundation. It had six domes and twenty windows. The bell tower, connected to the church, was covered with iron, and the crosses were made of iron, gilded and pierced. Around the church was a stone fence with three iron gates, and the porch was enclosed.

The church had two altars: one in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin, and the other, in the southern chapel, in honor of Saint Nicholas of Myra the Miracle Worker. There were three iconostases, all made of wood, carved and gilded. The central iconostasis included 24 icons, while the side ones had 8 and 11. The church was illuminated by three chandeliers, and there were four bells. A church school also operated at the church.

In 1929, the church was closed and for a long time used as a grain storage facility. Currently, the building continues to deteriorate.
