The decision to build a church in honor of the Holy Virgin, dedicated to her Intercession, was made at a stanitsa meeting on May 11, 1904. The laying of the church took place on August 17, 1908, and the construction was completed in 1913, costing 120,000 rubles.

The Intercession Church was built in the characteristic early 20th-century "brick" style of Russian church architecture. It had a five-domed main volume, connected to a long refectory with four windows and a two-tiered tented bell tower above the western narthex. The facades were richly decorated. The church had three altars, with two chapels dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and St. Panteleimon the Healer. In 1935, the church was blown up.
