The Intercession Church was built in 1882 from stone with funds raised by the parishioners. At the time of its opening, the number of parishioners was 1,523. The church had both church-parish and zemstvo schools.

In 1930, the church was closed and handed over to the collective farm for use as a grain storage facility. During the German occupation in 1942, the church was reopened, and services resumed. When it was closed in 1930, church utensils, books, and icons were destroyed.

In difficult times, the church often remained without a rector, and no restoration work was carried out.

Since 2010, major repairs have begun both inside and outside the church. On August 19, 2010, the church was consecrated by the Hierarchical rite.
