Before the October Revolution, there were three churches in the village of Bobrovy Dvory, which were destroyed in the 1930s with the arrival of Soviet power. The new Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin was consecrated on July 13, 2003, by Archbishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol. The main shrine of the church is an 18th-century icon of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.
The memorial plaque at the main entrance to the church indicates that the construction of the church began on November 4, 2002, and was completed on July 4, 2003. The consecration was conducted by Archbishop Ioann of Belgorod and Stary Oskol on July 13, 2003.
