Fifteen kilometers from Rylsk lies the village of Bobrovo, where the Intercession Church rises in the center. Built in 1903, it was converted into a warehouse in the 1930s by order of the authorities. In 1996, the church was transferred to the Kursk Diocese. By the blessing of Archbishop Juvenal (Tarasov) of Kursk and Rylsk, the church was assigned to the Holy Nicholas Rylsk Monastery for the establishment of a skete. That same year, the first novices arrived in Bobrovo, and a skete head was appointed. In 1997, a domestic church was built, where services are still held.
