In 1907, a stone Intercession church was built in Bessedino, where services were held until 1936. The church was then closed, valuables were confiscated, and the building was converted into a House of Culture. After the war, when a new House of Culture was built in the village, the church building was destroyed.

In 2003, the construction of a new wooden church began with private donations. On June 21, 2009, Archbishop German of Kursk and Rylsk consecrated the altar of the new wooden church dedicated to the Intercession of the Mother of God. The main sponsor of the construction was entrepreneur Elena Pyatkova, who continued the work of her husband Gennady Pyatkov, who was unable to complete the construction due to a serious illness.
