115 years ago, in 1905, a church was built in the village of Kosiakinskaya in the Novokubansk district (at that time it was the village of Gorkorechensky), consecrated in honor of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin.

It is believed that the church was closed in 1927. During the war, the building housed a grain storage. In 1957, a club was opened there. In 2003, the revival of the church began, and since 2012, services have been held there again.
