Фото 1
The Archangel Church, built in 1867, is a unique structure erected without the use of nails. A church parish school operated at the church, and there was a house for the priest. In 1962, the church was closed, and in 1963 it was almost completely dismantled and converted into a warehouse. Today, the building without a bell tower remains and is under state protection as a monument of history and culture from the mid-19th century. The church is preserved and recognized as a cultural heritage site according to the order of the Culture Department of the Belgorod Region dated April 11, 2007, No. 141. It is subject to protection in accordance with the Federal Law of the Russian Federation dated June 25, 2002, No. 73-FZ 'On Cultural Heritage Sites (Monuments of History and Culture) of the Peoples of the Russian Federation.'
