St. Michael the Archangel Church in Peschanoe

Фото 1
The Church of St. Michael the Archangel, located in the village of Peschanoe, is an example of wooden architecture from the 19th century and is protected by the state as a monument of architecture. Its construction was completed in 1885, when the number of parishioners was 983. The building is designed in the classical style, and that same year Peschanoe received the status of a village. A church parish school operated at the church.

There is no data on whether the church was closed during the repressions of the 1920s and 1930s. However, it is known that after the war, the church remained active, and services were held regularly.

Currently, the church is under restoration, but services continue to be held regularly.
