In the village of Panino, there once stood a wooden church, closed in 1930, but its building has not survived. In 1999, the construction of a new church in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God began, designed by architect Anatoly Grigoryevich Fedorts. The church has five domes. The walls were erected, domes and five bells were installed, an altar was built, the walls were plastered and painted, and services are already being held in the church. The consecration of the domes and bells was conducted by Metropolitan Sergey of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk.

Key events: In April 1999, a prayer service was held to mark the beginning of the church's construction. On August 29, 2000, the first Divine Liturgy took place in the church. On November 2, 2003, the domes were consecrated and raised, and on April 25, 2006, the bells were consecrated. Both consecrations were conducted by Metropolitan Sergey of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk. On February 11, 2007, Metropolitan Sergey consecrated the church itself.
