On October 2, 2016, Metropolitan Alexander of Bryansk and Sevsk conducted the rite of great consecration of the church dedicated to the Kaluga Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Lokot, Navlinsky District. After that, he led the Divine Liturgy in the newly consecrated church. The construction of the church dedicated to the Kaluga Icon of the Mother of God began in the mid-2000s. In 2012, the church was officially registered in the Bryansk Diocese, and on December 26, the first Divine Liturgy was held there. Since then, services at the church have been held regularly.
