In 2007, a church was built in Skuratovo in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Sign' with funds from a local native who now lives abroad. The church was consecrated in 2009.
Previously, there was a wooden church on this site, also dedicated to the Icon of the Mother of God 'Sign', which was erected in 1844 by landowner D.S. Brusilov. After the October Revolution, it was closed, and a store was opened in the building. During the German-Fascist occupation, a prison was located here, where partisans and their helpers were executed. In September 1943, while retreating, German troops burned the church along with the village.
