The church in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Joy of All Who Sorrow' was built in 2006. Its consecration took place on September 9, 2006, conducted by Archbishop John of Belgorod and Stary Oskol.

On March 12, 2004, Archbishop John consecrated the cornerstone, marking the beginning of the construction of the church dedicated to the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos 'Joy of All Who Sorrow'.

The project of the church was developed by architect Anatoly Pavlovich Bondarev from Luhansk, Ukraine. By early September 2004, the foundation was laid, and construction began. In 2006, the church was completed, and on September 9 of the same year, Archbishop John conducted its consecration. Daily services are held in the church, and a Sunday school operates as well.
