In November 2005, Metropolitan Isidor of Krasnodar and Kuban consecrated a new chapel on the monastery grounds. It was built in honor of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Relieve My Sorrows', to which those in grief often turn for comfort.

This chapel may be the finest work of architect F.I. Afuxenidi. Its construction took only seven months. Although the church is not tall, it impresses with its lightness and upward aspiration. It consists of three tiers, each seemingly pushing the next upward, and is topped with an elegant onion dome with a cross. Light enters the church through beautiful stained glass windows, and the carved iconostasis is made of linden wood.

Over time, the chapel was transformed into the church of the Icon of the Mother of God 'Relieve My Sorrows'.
