The village of Belye Berega, founded in 1868, never had its own church, and local residents visited the Belo-Berezhskaya Desert for spiritual needs. After the construction of a power station, the village began to grow, and the monastery was destroyed. For many years, Orthodox residents of Belye Berega traveled to churches in Bryansk and Karachev. In 1991, work began on the paperwork to establish a parish, which was decided to be named after the Icon of the Mother of God 'Three-Handed', in memory of the main cathedral of the Belo-Berezhskaya Desert, located 10 kilometers from the village. By the end of the year, the parish was officially registered. From 1992 to 1993, a space in a private house was rented for services. In 1993, the parish acquired and renovated a wooden house on the outskirts of the village for conducting services, and a permanent priest was appointed. In 1995, the construction of a large stone church began: a plot of land was allocated, a project was prepared, and the foundation was laid.

In 2001, the rector and parishioners decided not to continue the construction of the large church, but instead to build a smaller chapel on the same site. In 2002, the Christmas service took place in the new stone church. Currently, efforts are being made to construct a large church on the existing foundation.
