In the city of Dyatkovo, Bryansk region, there is a memorial temple in honor of the icon "The Burning Bush," which stands out for its crystal iconostasis, making it unique in the world. This unique church is a successor to the Crystal Cathedral of the Maltzovs, built in 1810 by the owner of the local crystal factory, Ivan Maltzov. The modern temple in Dyatkovo was erected in 2002 with the support of the city administration and the governor of Bryansk region, Yu.E. Lodkin, and its consecration took place in the spring of 2003. The unique design of the church was carried out free of charge by the workers of the Dyatkovo Crystal Factory. Together with the employees of the Dyatkovo Crystal Museum, they found the blueprints of the old iconostasis and recreated them with precision. More than 15 tons of crystal were required to create the huge chandelier, the iconostasis, as well as the tiles for the arches and walls of the temple. Currently, the priest Igor Kupriyashin is engaged in the restoration of the facades.
