In the Yuzhsky district, Archbishop Ambrosiy of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Kineshma consecrated the first church in Russia dedicated to Saint Uar. This saint is considered the protector of those who are not under the patronage of any other saint in the Orthodox tradition. Saint Uar accepts prayers for people who did not embrace Christianity in life and died unbaptized. Here, mothers can pray for forgiveness for their children who have passed away voluntarily or were never born. Relatives can request a service for drug addicts, prostitutes, or criminals. Saint Uar acts as their intercessor before God.

The idea of creating such a church belongs to Father Mitrofan, who serves in the village of Mugreevo-Nikolsk near Yuzh. About two years ago, he approached the local administration with a request for a plot of land for construction. The administration offered him a vacant lot opposite the cemetery that was unused. During the excavation for the altar's foundation, builders discovered an 18th-century icon of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, which merchants and sailors used to take with them on journeys.

After the construction was completed, a miracle occurred in the church: the found icon, placed on the altar, began to exude myrrh. This myrrh cleansed and illuminated the icon, and there was enough to anoint all the parishioners praying for sinners. Father Mitrofan noted in an interview with a newspaper that the miracle with the icon testifies to the correctness of the chosen path. The church should give hope even to those who are deprived of it. In the near future, two more similar churches are planned to open in the Moscow region, where relatives can pray for the 'unforgivable' sins of their loved ones.
