Фото 1
The village of Luchki was founded in the late 17th century and in 1708 became part of the Sazhny district of the Belgorod province. It was also known by the names Luchkov and Migulovka.

The first church in Luchki, located on the banks of the Lipovy Donets River, appeared almost simultaneously with the founding of the settlement, as according to Belgorod traditions, it was the church that transformed a village into a settlement. Since 1832, a stone Epiphany church with one altar, dedicated to the Baptism of the Lord, functioned in the village. In the early 20th century, the parish of this church included 1,427 people from the villages of Malaya Pokrovka and Nechaevka. The feast day was Epiphany, celebrated on January 19.

The church in Luchki did not survive; it was dismantled in 1954 and 1956, and from the remaining materials, a club was built in the village.
