The temple in honor of Blessed Cleopatra of Palestine was built in 1790 with funds from the landowner I.M. Sinelnikov, who owned the village. Originally wooden, it had a bell tower. Later, on its site, landowner E.N. Sinelnikov erected a stone church.

According to the will of his wife Cleopatra Grigorievna, the temple was consecrated in honor of the righteous Evdokim and Cleopatra on October 30, 1877.

Before the start of the Great Patriotic War, services in the church ceased, and it began to deteriorate. In the 1950s, the bell tower, altar, and roof were completely destroyed. The building was used by the collective farm for storing grain, vegetables, and fertilizers. On December 2, 1995, the temple of Righteous Cleopatra reopened its doors to the faithful.
