The local history museum began its work in 1985, with its opening timed to the 40th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The museum features several thematic halls. One of them is dedicated to the peasant life of the 19th and early 20th centuries, showcasing peasant utensils, household items, and tools from that time.

The archaeological hall displays finds uncovered during excavations of burial mounds in the area. Some exhibits date back over 4,000 years. A particular highlight is the reconstruction of the burial of a nomadic warrior, dating to the second millennium BC.

The largest hall of the museum is dedicated to the history of the native land during the Great Patriotic War. The museum's collection holds around five hundred exhibits. The Gribanovsky Local History Museum is one of the few places in the settlement that people of all ages enjoy visiting.
