The State Literary-Memorial and Natural Museum-Reserve A. S. Pushkin 'Boldino', located in the Nizhny Novgorod region, was opened in 1949. It includes the memorial estate in the village of Bolshoye Boldino and Pushkin's places in the surroundings, such as the Luchinnik grove and the estate of the poet's son A. A. Pushkin in the village of Lvovka.

Boldino is the ancestral estate of the Pushkin family, which they owned since the late 16th century. Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin visited Boldino in the autumn of 1830, 1833, and 1834. In 1830, he experienced his highest creative peak here, known as the Boldin Autumn, which remains a unique event in the history of Russian and world literature.

The museum-reserve actively engages in scientific, publishing, exhibition, excursion, and educational activities.

Not only are general and thematic excursions developed for visitors, but also additional programs.
