The wife of merchant V. I. Konstantinova planned to update the facade of the building by adding rustication, window brackets on the second floor, keystones, and stucco above the first-floor windows. The decor was intended to be more strict and concise. It is possible that the current appearance of the main facade was acquired in the early 20th century, corresponding to the neoclassical architectural tastes of that time, but it is also likely that the facade project changed during the construction.

The oldest residential building on Konstantinova's site is the modern structure 2, which is already marked on the 1831 plan. It was probably built in the post-fire period of 1813-1817. The house, along with its annex, has a complex configuration and has hardly changed since its construction. In the early 20th century, modern structure 1 was used as a rental property, while structure 2 housed the apartment of the owner M. F. Zalechnikov and rented out apartments.

Structure 1 is a two-story building, where the first floor is stone and the second is wooden. The facade decor, including stucco profiled architraves, window cornices, stucco window locks, and rusticated pilasters, as well as interiors with stucco ceilings, fireplaces, a grand staircase, and carpentry fillings, was restored between 1890 and 1900 in the neoclassical style.

Structure 2 is a two-story stone building. After the 1993 reconstruction, its facade was designed in the spirit of ceremonial Empire style. During the technical reconstruction related to adapting the building for a bank, internal re-planning was carried out with foundation strengthening, which led to the loss of historical interiors.
