Since 1847, after A.O. Zhilyardi moved to Italy, his student M.D. Bykovsky began working independently in Kuzminki. At various times, he oversaw several minor projects. One of his most successful original creations was the humped bridge near the Horse Yard.
In 1998, by the decision of the Moscow government, the former estates of Kuzminki and Lyublino were combined into a historical and recreational complex. During extensive restoration work, the Humped Bridge was also repaired.
