The museum and exhibition complex of the Russian Academy of Arts, known as the "Zurab Tsereteli Art Gallery," is one of the largest contemporary art centers. It was established as part of a program to transform the academy, developed by its president, Zurab Konstantinovich Tsereteli.

The "Art Gallery" features a permanent exhibition of works by this outstanding artist, sculptor, and monumental artist. The exhibition showcases pieces created over the years: paintings, monumental and easel sculptures, graphics, enamel panels and miniatures, as well as decorative and applied arts and design works.

Additionally, the gallery houses a permanent exhibition of casts of ancient sculptures from the collection of the A.S. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts. It also hosts Russian and international exhibition projects dedicated to various forms of visual arts, architecture, and design. The gallery conducts biennials, thematic and international exhibitions, showcases of diploma and student works from art universities, as well as exhibitions of young artists and works of contemporary art and art from different eras from museum and private collections.
